According to the introduction of relevant responsible person of transmission and distribution department of China Southern Power Grid, up to now, the equipment operation of the company is generally stable, the safety and quality progress of project construction is controllable and under control, and all work of production infrastructure is promoted orderly according to plan.
Strong net frame and optimize structure
Building a strong grid to make power supply more reliable. On January 30th, at the construction site of 500KV Outer Ring East Project (Shanwei Section) in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the construction personnel were working hard to carry out tower foundation construction. According to the relevant responsible person of infrastructure department of Guangdong Power Grid Company of China Southern Power Grid, the project belongs to cross-regional construction project, spanning Shanwei, Huizhou, Heyuan and other places in Guangdong Province, and it will build a 500kV Shanwei switch station and 388km 500kV single-circuit line.After the completion of the project, the project will provide support for the construction of a layered and partitioned power grid in eastern Guangdong, and play an important function of accident support and phased power mutual aid, greatly improving the adaptability of Guangdong target grid to the development of power supply and load in the east.On the morning of February 1st, along bank of Beijiang River in Lianjiangkou Town, Yingde City, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, the builders of Guangdong Power Grid Energy Development Company are nervously preparing for the entry of traction machines, tension machines and other materials, and promoting the construction of 500kV Guohua Qingyuan Power Plant at full speed. "The project crossing spans 1022 meters and is expected to be completed and put into operation before April 30 this year." According to Feng Yuancheng, the person in charge of the project site, at present, the electricity consumption in Qingyuan City mainly depends on hydroelectric generation. After the project is put into operation, it will improve the current situation of electricity consumption “live at the mercy of the elements” in the local area.
We will make every effort to promote the high-quality construction of the project. "At present, the overall progress of the substation project has been completed by 95%. The 500kV main transformer and 35kV process layer link, fault recording and 220kV primary and secondary equipment acceptance are being carried out in an intense and orderly manner." On January 29th, among the mountains in Nandan County, Hechi City, Guangxi Province,the construction site of Hechi City’s first 500kV intelligent substation--500kV Phoenix Substation Project, a key project of China Southern Power Grid ,which belongs to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was busy. Lan Xi, project manager of Guangxi Power Transmission and Transformation Construction Company of China Southern Power Grid, introduced that the project department strictly implemented the "1+N" operation risk control mechanism, all builders grasped the golden period of construction in February after the festival, promoted the project construction safely, orderly, on schedule and with high quality, and fully promoted the completion and operation of the substation in the middle and late March.
Digital transformation makes the grid smarter. "We strive to build Hainan Ring Network 500kV Main Grid Project into a business card project for Hainan Free Trade Port construction." Chen Jie, manager of 500kV I Owner Project Department of Hainan Power Grid Construction Branch of China Southern Power Grid, said that the investment scale of the project is about 5.2 billion yuan. Three 500kV substations and 833km 500kV lines will be built in Coconut City, Lucheng and Changhua. The line route is planned to pass through 14 cities and counties in Hainan Province. After completion, it will realize full coverage of 500kV provincial digital power grid for the first time in China. In order to create a practical model of digital power grid, Hainan Power Grid has set up a project working team, implemented the "section chief" responsibility system, implemented "fine, nano and unitized" management of the project, and realized the intelligent control of the whole procedural business such as project progress, quality, safety, cost and archives.
Send green electricity to promote "double carbon"
Clean energy has stronger consumption. On February 1st, Guizhou Bijie 500kV line sent from Weihe Power Plant project has completed the whole line retest and entered the line tower foundation excavation stage, laying a solid foundation for a good start since the Spring Festival. According to the introduction of relevant person in charge of the project, the project, as an important part of Guizhou power grid construction planning during the "14th Five-Year " Plan period, is an important measure to promote the optimal allocation of Guizhou resources, and will further smooth the surplus energy from Weihe Power Plant to send out. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation on September 30 this year. After being put into operation, it will help alleviate the power shortage situation of Guizhou power grid, and the clean energy consumption and transmission capacity of Guizhou Province will be greatly improved.
IIsland power supply,“wind” to solve.In recent days, Guangdong Power Grid Corporation is speeding up the construction and improvement of the first domestic wind power coastal test base in Shantou, and building a certification and testing service platform and a public test platform for coastal wind power large-capacity units. The base is planned to build four testing positions, with a maximum detection capacity of 24,000 kilowatts per machine. After completion, it will fill the gap in the detection of large-capacity wind turbines in China and support the high-quality development of wind power and other new energy industries during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. "At present, the world's largest offshore wind farm can support the detection of 15,000 kilowatt wind turbines." Zhao Yu, minister of the Wind Energy Department of the China Quality Certification Center, said that after Guangdong's first wind power coastal test base is completed, its wind turbine detection capability will reach the international leading level in one fell swoop.
Pumped storage energy, construction keeps going. "During the Spring Festival, we invested more than 440 people in the construction of 12 key working faces to ensure that it can be put into operation and power generation on schedule." Liu Cao, manager of Engineering Department of Engineering Construction Management Branch of South Power Grid Energy Storage Company, said that after the festival, the construction personnel on site of Nanning Pumped Storage Power Station construction project increased by about 200 and the working surface increased by 10. By the end of 2025, the power station will be fully completed and put into operation. This project is a major project planned by the state during the “14th Five-Year Plan” and the first pumped storage power station to be started in South China during the “14th Five-Year Plan”. After the project is put into operation, the annual power generation will be nearly 1 billion kWh, and it is estimated that 285,000 tons of system standard coal will be saved annually, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 766,000 tons annually, and the emission reduction effect is equivalent to the purification effect of nearly 62,500 acres of forest.
